Back Pain doesn't have to be caused by lifting heavy objects. It can also be triggered by silly things such as reaching out for something or even sneezing. What this means is that there is something amiss with your core stability, and doing these things just triggers an effect from an underlying problem.

Most people are active when they are young. Doing sports, dancing or maybe just enjoying long walks. As you get older though, more things take up your time, and your exercise gets left behind. As a result of this, your muscles start to weaken, you probably put on a pound or two that you shouldn't and your back becomes more prone to problems.

One day you will feel a little twinge in your back. Another you get stiff sitting on your sofa. And before you know it, you get excruciating pain and you cannot move.

Does that sound familiar?

I stopped playing football with my son, because after a few minutes, my back would ache, my knees would ache, and I was unable to enjoy the games, because it just hurt too much.

So, I decided to do something about it .

I got my back straightened out, which solved the immediate problem, but also found a series of gentle strengthening and stretching exercises, which after using daily (only 5 minutes a day) for 6 months, I found myself not only able to play with my kids again, but also to enjoy many of the sports I used to do 20 years ago

  • Do you find yourself unable to do all the things that you once could?
  • Are you unable to play ball with your kids anymore?
  • Does the thought of walking farther than you car, fill you full of dread?

I don't know about you, but Doctors don't help. They tell you to rest maybe, and that will probably ease the immediate problem of the pain, but does it affect the root cause of all of this?

No!

One of the biggest problems surrounding Back Pain, is understanding what's going on. Ok, I know you are in pain, but do you understand why?

The A - Z of Back Pain takes you through the likely cause of your problem, from a medical and lay point of view, and discusses ways in which your problem could be solved. It discusses

  • Causes of Back Pain
  • Treatment for Back Pain
  • Complications surrounding problems with your back
  • And probably most importantly, ways of preventing Back Pain in the future

There are also guides relating weight and size ratios which can have a major bering on back problems.

The A - Z of Back Pain takes you through the process of understanding the problem and gives you helpful advice on ways of relieving immediate pain and also of preventing occurrences of back problems in the days and months to come.
