Air, Adjustable, TempurPedic – What’s a Bed to Do for Back Pain?

Finding the correct bed could mean the difference between a great nights sleep and sleepless nights and extremely long days. With so many different styles and brands, it can be very confusing and maybe even stressful knowing which bed would be best for you. Here are a few of the more popular beds that seem to be great for back pain.

Air mattresses have gotten to be very popular. Actually, these beds come highly recommended. Now, this is not those uncomfortable camping air mattress you may have out in the garage. Spring mattresses put pressure on your entire body while you are sleeping. If there is pressure on your hips or shoulders, it could completely throw your spine out of alignment. You will be able to wake up and not have back pain or stiffness. You will feel refreshed and ready to start your day.

Adjustable beds can be adjusted to your body type. They can help elevate back pain by simply raising it up so you are not lying flat on your back. You will be able to read or watch TV in bed without that pressure on your neck and shoulders and eventually in your back. With these types of beds, you are also able to raise your legs, too. Raising your legs will take pressure off of your back and circulatory system. Taking the pressure off of your back will mean a more relaxing sleep and more rest. Raising both your back and legs will completely support your body weight and you will rest like you have never rested before. Some adjustable beds even come with a built in massager. With these beds, you will be able to melt away the aches and pains. Less tightness and stress means a more pain-free back. The more relaxed you are, the less pain you will be in. Plus, the more relaxed you are when you go to sleep, the better sleep you will get and the better you will feel when you wake up in the morning.
